Structure your academic writing well in English
Participants need a proficiency level of B1/B2 or higher.
Well written English moves beyond the grammatically correct using quintessentially English structural rules at the sentence, paragraph and thesis level. Solid structure removes unnecessary distraction from content and is fundamental in any writing context.

The workshop uses several approaches including individual feedback, small and large group interactions, and problem-solving activities.
Theoretical blocks are followed by a direct application exercise to a sample of participant writing. Participants are encouraged to submit one to two A4 pages of their own academic writing by email no later than one week before the course:
To derive maximum benefit from the workshop, the sample should ideally be a draft piece of writing that has not been edited by someone else. All samples of work will be held in utmost confidence and not shared with other workshop participants.
Participants will also practise developing the macro structure of a academic work as a writing roadmap.
